Blakes London, established in 1986, is regularly involved in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and other commercial transactions in Europe for Canadian clients. We act for Canadian issuers and international underwriters in placing debt and equity securities in the Euromarkets and in syndicated loans and related transactions. A particular focus in recent years has been the natural resource sector, and we have acted on numerous offerings for mining and oil and gas companies with interests in Canada and abroad in countries such as Russia and South Africa.
