Blakes Strengthens its Banking Practice in Montréal

MONTRÉAL (May 27, 2008) – Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP (Blakes), one of Canada's leading business law firms, today announced that Sébastien Vilder will be joining its Financial Services Group as a Partner in Montréal.

Mr. Vilder specializes in bank financing and project financing. He has been involved in numerous bank and project financings in Canada, Europe, Africa and Asia. Other areas of expertise include energy and infrastructure projects and aircraft leasing. He is a member of many organizations, including the Barreau du Québec, the Bar of the State of New York, the Canadian Council on Africa and the Institute for Public-Private Partnerships.
