Adding further strength in the area of strategic mergers to Canada's largest and most experienced competition group
TORONTO (January 18, 2010) – Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP (Blakes), one of Canada's leading business law firms, today announced that Deborah Salzberger has joined the Competition, Antitrust & Foreign Investment Group as a Partner in the Toronto office.

Deborah Salzberger, who is ranked in competition law by Chambers Global: The World's Leading Lawyers for Business, has extensive experience advising clients on competition/antitrust and foreign investment review issues in the context of mergers and acquisitions. She also provides competition law compliance advice in respect of criminal cartel matters and reviewable practices, including marketing, advertising and distribution issues. Ms. Salzberger has represented clients in a variety of industries, including financial services, retail, pharmaceutical, telecommunications, manufacturing and entertainment.
